ODESA, AUGUST 22nd, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― The exchange of students and teachers will be carried out between Odesa National Maritime Academy and Piri Reis Maritime University, Turkey, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Dr. Taner Albayrak, Vice Dean of the Maritime Faculty of Piri Reis Maritime University (Istanbul, Turkey) noted today, 22 August, during a meeting of the executive committee members of the international project Marine in Odesa.

“If we talk about closer cooperation between Piri Reis Maritime University and Odesa National Maritime Academy, the first thing we are going to sign some sort of agreement, which will be discussed on cooperation and the exchange of teachers and students of our universities. We are going to make our cooperation more closely, and it will be expressed in this regard,” he said.

“The education at the University of Piri Reis is international, not national. Accordingly, all the training programmes are in the high school, and all instructions are in English. We give the opportunity for students from the Black Sea countries to study at the university, and for teachers to work,” the Deputy Dean added.
