ODESA, DECEMBER 2nd, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― Consulate of Georgia in Odesa intends intent on the opening of direct flights from Odesa to Georgia, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Consul-Head of the Consulate of Georgia in Odesa Manuchar Tsotsonava noted today, 2 December, during the briefing.

“As you know, Georgia and Ukraine cooperate very well in all areas, but especially in tourism... This interest can be explained primarily mental similarity between our two brotherly peoples, and we really want this relationship to develop even more,” Mr Tsotsonava noted. “We will actively promote the opening of direct flights from Odesa to Georgia ― Kutaisi, Tbilisi, Batumi. Unfortunately, direct flights have not existed yet, and it certainly would help the development of our relations, especially the tourism.”
