ODESA, FEBRUARY 14th, 2014, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― The book “My Odesa cuisine” by Odesa restaurateur and columnist Savely Libkin will take part in the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards in China, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.
S. Libkin noted today, 14 February, during the interview.
“The fact that my book participate in the competition Gourmand World Cookbook Awards, which will be held in the last week of May in China, I learned a couple weeks ago. The competition of gastronomic literature is held every year in China. It emerged that, the Russians put forward this book, along with other authors’ books in three or four nominations. But in the end my book was nominated for “Local cuisine” and will represent Russia and compete with books from other countries,” he noted.
