MP Anton Kisse meets with the head of Bulgarian Minister of Foreign Affairs

ODESA, MARCH 24th, 2014, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― MP, President of the Association of Bulgarians in Ukraine Anton Kisse has met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria Kristian Vigenin, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The press service of Member of Parliament noted today, March 24.

According to the information, the President of the Association of Bulgarians in Ukraine held a series of meetings and consultations in the official Sofia. A. Kisse met with Bulgarian Foreign Minister Kristian Vigenin.

“The signing of the political part of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU is a signal that the Union continues to support the Ukrainian state and is ready to strengthen cooperation,” K. Vigenin said during a meeting

The Minister stressed that the direct dialogue Russia-Ukraine should be held for the resolution of the crisis.

In turn, Anton Kisse expressed gratitude on behalf of Bulgarians in Ukraine, that in such a difficult time they feel support of Bulgaria and have the opportunity to keep in touch with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. According to him, the visit of the Bulgarian Minister of Ukraine was an important, timely and expressed communion and solidarity with the Bulgarian diaspora in Ukraine.

One of the topics concerned the possibility of improving the situation of Bulgarians in Ukraine and their rights, in particular, the status of the Bulgarian language at the regional level.

Foreign Minister assured the President of the Association of Bulgarians in Ukraine that the Bulgarian government agencies watching the developments and they are ready to respond in case of infringement of the rights of the Bulgarian minority in Ukraine.

People’s Deputy and discussed a wide range of issues related to the political and economic situation in the country, relations with the European Union and the Russian crisis and reflection on regional processes.
