ODESA, APRIL 11th, 2014, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― Chamber Theater troupe “Liberté” of the faculty of the Odesa National Mechnikov University has won an honorable second place at the X International festival of francophone theatres, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

According to the information, the chamber theater troupe “Liberté” of the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology of Odesa National Mechnikov University won an honorable second place at the X International festival of francophone theatres. This year, spectators and members of the jury were proposed a performance “Wives of Bluebeard” by Charles Perrault’s fairy tales and A. France.

This year’s International Festival was presented by the theater groups from Odesa, Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kryvyi Rih, as well as a theater troupe “Al’Improvisade” from France. Viewers presented eight performances of plays by well-known European writers Samuel Beckett, Charles Perrault, André Maurois, and other well-known European writers.
