KHERSON, OCTOBER 15th, 2014, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Turkish Airlines expands its flight map and opens a new destination to Kherson, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

According to the information, Turkish Airlines’s aircraft began to operate regular flights on the route Istanbul — Kherson — Istanbul with frequency 4 times per week. Kherson and other regions of the South Ukraine.

The official opening ceremony of scheduled flights of Turkish Airlines from Istanbul to Kherson took place at «Kherson» airport. The press-conference was held with the participation of Chairman of the Kherson Regional State Administration Mr. Andriy Putilov, H.E. Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Ukraine Mr. Yonet Can Tezel, Chief Marketing and Sales Officer of Turkish Airlines, Mr. Ziya Taşkent. Also, present were the general managers of Turkish Airlines in Kherson, Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk and Lviv, director of the airport “Kherson”, representatives of business from Kherson, Odesa and Mykolaiv.
