KHERSON, AUGUST, 21ST, 2008, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE —Kherson City Council will continue to push for transfer of regional municipal enterprise «Airport «Kherson» in municipal city property, IA “Context-Prichernomorie” correspondent reports.

The agency was informed about this by the Kherson city chairman Vladimir Saldo.

He has informed that for the first time this question has been raised in 2002. City Council addressed to regional state administration and regional council with requests of transferring the airport but the answer has not been received yet.

V. Saldo has expressed confidence that the City Council can involve the real investor and launch the airport.

Mayor has added that corresponding petitions will be addressed to corresponding instances in the near future.

«The airport is in territory of Kherson and it would be quite logical to transfer this object to city», — he has told.
