MYKOLAIV, DECEMBER 9th, 2014, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Mykolaiv Port has become one of the three leading ports incoming grain cargoes delivered by rail along with the ports of Odessa and Yuzhny, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.
The press service of the SE “The administration of the seaports of Ukraine” noted today, 9 December.
According to the information, the delivery of grain to ports by rail for further exports in October amounted to 2 million 393 thousand tones. The largest ports are: Yuzhny, Odessa and Mykolaiv.
The operative data of Ministry of Agrarian Policy noted that, as of 27 November the grain exports amounted to 14.9 million tons, wheat exports — 7.4 million tons, corn — 4 million tons, barley — 3.3 million tons, other cereals — 150 thousand tons. In addition vessels with 334 thousand tons of grain on board are in ports.
