ODESSA, AUGUST, 20TH, 2008, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE —Today, work of the international check point for automobile connection «Mayaki — Palanka» has renewed, IA “Context-Prichernomorie” correspondent reports.

The agency was informed about this today, on August, 20th, by the press-service of the State frontier service of Ukraine.

As it was noted in the press-service, check point for automobile connection «Mayaki — Palanka», located on border with Republic Moldova in the Odessa region, has renewed its work. Traffic has been blocked for some weeks because of flooding of a site of road.

Work of two check points on the Ukrainian-Moldavian border in Vinnitsa region is not renewed yet. Besides, there are flooded sites of frontier around two departments of frontier service in Chernovtsy and Odessa regions as well as 40 frontier marks. 800 metres of boundary roads are damaged.
