ODESSA, JANUARY 15th, 2015, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — UAH 640 million have been invested by private companies in the infrastructure of Odessa port in 2014, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The Head of Administration of the Odessa seaport Mikhail Sokolov said today, January 15, during a press conference on the results of the port of Odessa in 2014 and the administration's plans for 2015.

“In 2014, the partners of the port (private companies: 13 large stevedoring companies and some smaller) invested UAH 640 million in the Odessa port’s infrastructure. In 2013, it amounted to UAH 432 million.

Port Authority’s own funds invested in the amount of UAH 173 million. Total for 2014 we can talk about more than UAH 800 million of investment in port’s infrastructure,” he noted.
