MYKOLAIV, FEBRUARY 12th, 2015, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Ambassador of France to Ukraine Mr Alain Remy has visited Mykolaiv port, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The press service of the Administration of the Ports of Ukraine noted today, February 12.

According to the information, French Ambassador to Ukraine A. Remy visited Mykolaiv Sea Port.

During the visit with the leadership of the harbor the prospects of development of the port and the ability to attract French investments were discussed.

Acting Head of Administration Mykolaiv Sea Port Oleksandr Novokhatskiy briefed the guests on the main activities of the port.

“Mykolaiv port is one of the most successful companies in the region. In 2005, we became one of the first Ukrainian ports, where the reform was carried out according to the principles of public-private cooperation. Today, we are successfully cooperating with private companies and achieve significant progress together with them,” O. Novokhatskiy said.

“Mykolaiv Sea Port is a whole city, a real living organism that is developing dynamically,” the Ambassador mentioned.

A. Remy was pleasantly surprised by the fact that, despite the difficult situation in the country, Mykolaiv port is continuing its work and new port facilities are constructed.

The Ambassador expressed his confidence that the harbor will continue to evolve.

In addition, the prospects for participation in the port of French companies and to attract new investment discussed during the meeting.
