ODESSA, FEBRUARY 20th, 2015, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Andriy Pivovarsky has said that the cost of selling Yuzhny port is not known yet – the assessment of the enterprise has not done yet, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Andriy Pivovarsky noted today, 20 February, during the press conference in Odessa.

“It was decided that this year audit of all enterprises will e carried out – it will be identified strategic enterprises that affect national security, strategic direction of the country, and will also identify those which will go up for auction — their assessment will be carried out, obtaining funds budget. Ministry of Economy is now generally determined with the approach to the tendering procedure,” Vice Prime Minister — Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Gennady Zubkov noted.

“Regarding the Yuzhny port — the evaluation has not been carried out yet, has not signed a contract with the appraiser. As a former investment banker I can say that the asset should be sold when it is at the peak of its income, then it will be the most expensive,” the Minister said.
