According to the information, in the port of Ilyichivsk was held a rally of the labor collective, organized with the support of trade unions of the enterprise. The rally was attended by the director of the port Yuri Kruk and Mayor of Ilyichivsk Valery Khmelnyuk.

Hundreds of port workers gathered in front of the Port Authority with posters “The administration and staff are united”, “Provocations will not pass”, “The strength of the port in unity”, opposed the attempts to destabilize the situation in the largest enterprise sector through the organization of various kinds of paid actions involving alleged “Ilyichivsk port workers”.

Thus, according to the trade unions, February 19 provocateurs were planning to hold a rally of the people attracted to this promotion via social networks across the Odessa region for a fee of UAH 100 to come at the right time in the right place with the right slogans.

Chairman of trade union of Ilyichivsk CSP Sergiy Bryzgalov, speaking to the port workers, said: “Today the port, despite the difficult economic situation in the country, stable operating company with a strong social base and legal support, so there is no reason to excite our team – said the leader of the trade unions.”

Speaking at a meeting of the port director Yuri Kruk said that the attempt to create a conflict situation in the successful enterprises occurred precisely at the time when the port is honorably released from a serious financial crisis, significantly improved its economic performance of the work in 2014, including profit.
