ODESSA, FEBRUARY 17th, 2015, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — In January 2015 Ilyichivsk Sea Port has handled 98 ships and 16 thousand 307 wagons, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The press service of the Administration of the Ilyichivsk Sea Port noted today, 17 February.

According to the information, In January 2015 the volume of cargo handled in the whole water area (excluding LLC “Ilyichivsk sea fishing port”) amounted to 1 million 410 thousand tons, which is 26.1% more than in 2014.

State port operator (SE “ICSP”) processed 1 million 11 thousand tons, which is 45.3% more than in 2014, and is 71.7% of the total volume of handled cargo.

Private port operators handled 399 thousand tons (28.3% of the total). In particular, private port operators through the piers of the Administration of the Ports of Ukraine — 268 thousand tons (19.0% of the total).

Transshipment of transit cargo totaled 231 thousand tons (fall by 35.4% compared to 2014), export — 846 thousand tons (increase of 52.7% compared to 2014), import — 314 thousand tons (an increase of 52.8 % compared to 2014).

Liquid cargo handled 101 thousand tons (fall by 24.5% compared to 2014), bulk — 982 thousand tons (increase of 68% compared to 2014), general cargo — 326 thousand tons (fall 18.3% compared to 2014).

The best results were achieved in January in the processing of grain cargoes — 397 thousand tons (+ 41.4% as compared to 2014), coal — 78 thousand tons (+ 271.0% compared to 2014), ore — 338 thousand tons (+ 218.3% as compared to 2014), motor vehicles TIR — 2 thousand 843 units (+ 41.6% to the result of 2014).

Containers in general, the port handled 8 thousand 447 TEU, including PE “Ilyichivsk Container Terminal” revised 8 thousand 425 TEU.
