ODESSA, FEBRUARY 27th, 2015, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — 4 units of environmental fleet listed on the balance of Ilyichivsk port, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The press service of the Administration of the Ports of Ukraine noted today, 27 February.

According to the information, from 25 to 27 February in the administration of the Ilyichivsk seaport passed the departmental test in compliance with environmental legislation. The audit was conducted under the chairmanship of the head of the department of environmental safety SE “Administration of the Ports of Ukraine” Sergiy Perfiliev.

During the visit the experts drew attention on the readiness of the company to respond to emergency water pollution in Ilyichivsk seaport and work of environmental fleet.

According to the head of the department of environmental safety administration of Ilyichivsk seaport Oleksandr Yurchenko, on the balance of the enterprise there are 4 units of environmental fleet, more than one thousand meters of oil booms, the biodecomposer “Econadin” for the oil spill response.

“The Fleet Service of the Administration of Ilyichivsk sea port is in constant readiness and, if necessary, can quickly and efficiently carry out the whole complex of environmental measures for spill in the waters,” Oleksandr Yurchenko noted.
