ODESSA, APRIL 17th, 2015, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — The marketing plan of development and short-term plans for the organization of the Danube Region has been presented in Odessa, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The Information Department of Odessa City Council noted today, 17 April.

According to the information, yesterday, April 16, 2015 in Odessa was held the meeting with representatives of the international organization “Danube Competence Center”.

During the meeting were presented short-term plans of the “Danube Competence Center”, for 2015, as well as the development of Danube Region’s marketing plan for the 2016-2018 years. The questions of creation the cross-border tours, relationships with partners, local authorities, potential members of organization and the other ones were discussed at the meeting.

Danube Competence Center – is an international organization whose main goal is the development of the Danube region, the implementation of joint international initiatives and activities to sustainable tourism development. Odessa is the only Ukrainian city-member of this organization.

The main objective of the Center is integration of interests, projects and activities in the field of tourism and the local economy of the Danube region (Germany, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova and Ukraine).
