ODESSA, DECEMBER 2nd, 2015, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — ASPU plans to conduct capital and maintenance dredging of the water area of ports and channels in the amount of 14 million cubic meters in 2016, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The Chairman of the SE “The Administration of the Sea Ports of Ukraine” Andriy Amelin noted today, December 2, during a press conference.

According to him, work on operational dredging in planned in Berdyansk, Mariupol, Izmail, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Reni, Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky and Odessa sea ports, in Yuzhny port and SSP Oktyabrsk, as well as deep-water ship course of the Danube River – Black Sea, Bugsko-Dneprovsko-Limanskiy Channel and Kharkiv Meat Processing Plant.

Also, works on capital dredging in Ilyichivsk and Yuzhny Sea Ports are planned in 2016.

In addition, A. Amelin said that as of December 1, 2015 works on capital and maintenance dredging was carried out in almost all ports, but only until the end of the year total dredging volume of 4 million 800 thousand cubic meters is planned.
