ODESSA, JANUARY 26th, 2016, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – In 2015, at the berths of the Odessa sea port a total amount of 25 million 589 thousand 590 tons of cargo have been handled, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The head of the Administration of the port of Odessa Sea Port Mikhail Sokolov noted today, January 26, during a press conference on the results of last year.

According to him, due to the adoption of the Financial Plan for 2016 in November 2015, the port can implement more projects.

M. Sokolov said that these funds, in particular, are planned to master the reconstruction of the quay №7 with the construction of cargo complex in the rear of the dock. Also under construction grain transshipment complex on the basis of the berth №35 (1- «h»), the construction of a container terminal at Quarantine Mole continues port.

In addition, this year the port intends to proceed with the reconstruction of the overpass, the area of customs clearance, concert and exhibition hall, as well as the marine station.
