NIKOLAEV, AUGUST, 27TH, 2008, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – Experts of SE «Delta-pilot» got superlong vessels in and out of the Odessa port, IA “Context-Prichernomorie” correspondent reports.

The agency was informed about this today, on August, 27th, by the press-service of SE «Delta-pilot».

So, in the night of August 18-19th, 2 vessels of superlong sizes were got in and 1 out of the Odessa port owing to professional actions of the Odessa pilotage service division. The maximum length of the vessels that pass as usual with help of SE «Delta-pilot» sea pilots Odessa STP, does not exceed 240 m. Vessels which maneuvered in water area of OSTP at night on August, 19th, have the following sizes: container truck «MSC DAMLA», length — 260 m, steam-ship «NORASIA BELLATRIX», length — 282 m, steam-ship «CRISTAL SERENSITY» — 250 m.

In total 15 vessels per day can come in and out of the Odessa port. All working details of the passing are fulfilled on the training centre at the main office of the enterprise in Nikolaev.
