ODESSA, MARCH 11th, 2016, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — The director of the well-known consulting firm Royal Haskoning DHV (Holland) Mr Eric Smith has visited Odessa port with a familiarization purpose, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The press service of the Odessa Commercial Sea Port reported today, March 11.

According to the information, the director of the well-known consulting firm Royal Haskoning DHV (Holland) Mr Eric Smith visited Odessa port with a familiarization purpose on March 10. The meeting was held with Head of the Port Administration Mikhail Sokolov. Aslo it was attended by the partner of International Law Office INTERLEGAL Artur Nitsevyc and heads of several departments of SE “ASPU”.

In the course of the conversation Mr Sokolov briefed the guest on the key projects of the investment program of development of Odessa port, which are now being implemented in the form of public-private partnership. In particular, they talked about the reconstruction of the quay №7.

Mr Smith, in turn, spoke about the experience of the Royal Haskoning DHV in Ukrainian ports, where the company has been involved in the design and construction of a number of port infrastructure at the request of its customers — investment banks, port operators, shippers and international traders.

After the end of the meeting a small tour of the port of Odessa was organized for Mr. E. Smith.
