Memorandum on cooperation signed between the ASPU and the Bulgarian port Administration

ODESSA, MARCH 15th, 2016, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Memorandum on cooperation between the Administration of Seaports of Ukraine and the Bulgarian port infrastructure company (Bulgarian analogue of ASPU) has been signed, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The press service of the SE “Administration of Seaports of Ukraine” reported today, March 15.

According to the information, memorandum on cooperation between the ASPU and the Bulgarian port infrastructure company was signed during the working visit of Ukrainian specialists of the Administration of Seaports to the Republic of Bulgaria.

The two sides agreed to strengthen cooperation and develop business relationships. In particular, the memorandum provides for pilot projects involving information sharing between the two companies on procedures for approach/departure of vessels, tariff and statistical analysis, tariff policy regarding the use of infrastructure, and port legislation.

The two sides also agreed to hold joint seminars and conferences, as well as to organize internships for port specialists in the following areas: port management, maritime safety, operation of vessel propulsion systems, logistics, and environmental protection.

In addition, the two sides will launch a project for information interaction between Ukraine’s Port Community Information System and «Maritime Single Window of Bulgaria» during registration of arrival/departure of ferries.
