Odessa, 14 JUNE 2016, CONTEXT-Prichernomorie -- At the end of five months of 2016 in the whole water area of Illichevsk seaport (without taking into account the fishing port), the best results are achieved in the processing of coal -- an increase of 58.7% as compared to 2015, laden cars -- an increase of 33.4% and grain -- growth 30, 8%, the correspondent of IA «Context-Prichernomorie» reports.

Agency was informed today, on June 14, by the press service of the Administration of Illichevsk seaport.

Thus, according to the operative information of the economy service of administration of Illichevsk seaport, in May 2016, the turnover of freight traffic in the whole water area (excluding «Illichevsk Sea Fishing Port») amounted to 948 thousand tons.

State port operator (SE «ISCP») processed 469 thousand tons, accounting for 49.5% of total cargo turnover in the port. Private port operators processed 479 thousand tons (50.5 % of the total). In particular, private port operators processed through the berths of SE «ASPU» — 379 thousand tons (39.9% of total volume).

Transshipment of export cargo amounted to 710 thousand tons (73.8% of from 2015), import -. 169 thousand tons (70.6% from the same period of 2015), transit -- 69 thousand tons (21.7% of the indicators of previous year).

The best results were achieved by the end of May in the processing of laden vehicles 105 thousand tons (an increase of 55.3% compared to 2015).

In general, Illichevsk seaport handled over May 2016 130 ships and 10 133 wagons.

In the period from January to May 2016, the volume of freight traffic in the whole water area (excluding Ltd. «Illichevsk Sea Fishing Port») amounted to 6 million 722 thousand tons (88.3% from the same period last year). The best results in the 5 months of 2016 achieved in the processing of coal -- 123 thousand tons (58.7% growth to that period of 2015), laden vehicles -- 479 thousand tons (33.4% as compared to the same period last year) and grain — 2 million 807 thousand tons (an increase of 30.8% as compared to the last year).

From January to May 2016 Illichevsk seaport processed 647 ships and 63 566 cars.
