Odessa, 07 JULY 2016, CONTEXT-Prichernomorie -- 12-14 August in the Taras Shevchenko park will be held II Odessa International Charity Festival «Powder Tower», the correspondent of IA «Context-Prichernomorie» reports.

It was reported to the agency today, July 7, in the Department of Information of the Odessa City Council.

As noted in the Department, 12-14 August, at the Suvorov alley in Shevchenko Park near the Quarantine arcade will be held festival of «Powder Tower».

As part of the daily program of the festival will be competitions in medieval battle between the representatives of «knights' court» from different cities of Ukraine and abroad, craft fairs, workshops of folk crafts masters, competition programs, entourage photo shoot and more.

In the evening, visitors can expect theatrical performances, stirring melodies performed by famous folk bands, medieval colorful dances and fascinating fire show.

At the festival will run archery shooting range, as well as a network of taverns with a variety of food and drink prepared according to old technology over an open fire.

All collected funds will be used to work on the preservation, restoration and protection of cultural heritage of Odessa.
