Odessa, 12 JULY 2016, CONTEXT-Prichernomorie -- Ukrainian Navy, together with foreign partners to complete preparation of the Ukrainian-American exercises «Sea Breeze 2016», the correspondent of IA «Context-Prichernomorie» reports.

It was reported to the agency today, July 12, in the press center of the Command of the Naval Forces of Ukraine.

As noted in the press center, Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in cooperation with foreign partners to complete the preparation of the Ukrainian-American exercises «Sea Breeze 2016», scheduled to take place on 18-30 July in the North-Western part of the Black sea, Odessa and Mykolaiv regions.

Currently it is undergoing final check up availability of locations, equipment and weapons, the availability of stocks, specified organizational issues and the like.

Furthermore, according to the program of activities, in Odessa with the participation of foreign instructors began training for certain categories of personnel of the Ukrainian Navy, namely the course with the officers of the planning of operations according to NATO standards, which is carried out by representatives of the Command and Staff College of the US Navy, and leadership course for senior petty officers (NCO).

The theme of the exercise «Sea Breeze-2016» will be the planning and conduct of international peacekeeping operations in the crisis area, the purpose of the exercise is to develop actions of multinational staffs and forces during planning and carrying out international operation on establishment of peace in accordance with the standards of the leading countries of the world.

The Navy Command of Ukraine believes that the «Sea Breeze 2016» exercises will help improve fleet training in the conduct of multinational operations in crisis areas, deepening trust between the seamen of different countries, and in the end, to the maintenance of peace and stability.
