Odessa, 29 JULY 2016, CONTEXT-Prichernomorie -- In the administration of the sea port «Yuzhny» held command and staff exercises on the procedure for the detection of a suspicious object resembling an explosive device, the correspondent of IA «Context-Prichernomorie» reports.

According to the press service, during the exercises on the territory of the administration of sea port «Yuzhny» was placed the mock explosive device. After 5 minutes on phone duty officer of SMB received a report from an employee of the Department of economic security about the suspicious subject resembling an explosive device.

The duty officer SMB specified details and circumstances of the discovery of the subject, reported to the leadership of the SMB and informed the on-duty law enforcement and regulatory authorities according to the notification scheme.

The area of detection of a suspicious object was surrounded by the staff of the detachment of general security and police protection unit. Access to the danger zone has been blocked in the administration employees and third parties.

Also in the administration of the sea port «Yuzhny» has passed checkup of automatic fire-fighting station. Inspection was conducted by the Department of energy together with the Department of fire and technogenic safety, the work mobilization and civil defense administration.

The work checkup was carried out controlling start on the third berth, intended for loading of ammonia.
