Odessa, 11 AUGUST 2016, CONTEXT-Prichernomorie -- In Odessa from 12 to 14 August will be held the International Dance Festival «Stamina Battleт 2016», the correspondent of IA «Context-Prichernomorie» reports.

It was reported to the agency today, August 11, in the Department of Information of the Odessa City Council.

According to the Department, the International Dance Festival «Stamina Battleт 2016» (the «Battle endurance») will be held in Odessa from 12 to 14 August. The organizer of the street dance festival is the youth public movement «Stamina», which aims at promoting a healthy and active lifestyle, involvement youth in cultural, sporting and dance activities. The final gala concert will be held at the Greek square on August 14 from 16:00 to 22:00.

Project objectives: attracting attention of the public and organizations to the problems of youth and the development of new cultural trends; attracting tourists; increasing young people's interest to modern dance culture; improving skills of participants; increase participants' interest in the activities of this kind; popularization of social street culture; promotion of a healthy lifestyle.

International Festival of street dance is held in Odessa from 2010. About their participation in the festival said more than 500 people, the expected number of spectators — up to 10 thousand people a day.

Participating countries: Ukraine, Canada, China, Belgium, France, Poland, Russia, Moldova, Belarus, Germany.

The festival is supported by the Standing Committee on Education, Sports, Culture and Tourism of the Odessa City Council, deputies of the Odessa City Council, Department of Culture and Tourism of the Odessa City Council.
