Odessa, 12 AUGUST 2016, CONTEXT-Prichernomorie -- Odessa Mayor Gennady Truhanov met with the Consul General of Greece Mr. Antonios Haziroglu, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Odessa, the correspondent of IA «Context-Prichernomorie» reports.

It was reported to the agency today, August 12, in the Department of Information of the Odessa City Council.

As stated in the Department, the mayor of Odessa met with Mr. A. Hasanoglu, who from 2010 was the General Consul of Greece in Odessa and today is completing his diplomatic mission.

«The main heritage of Odessa are its people. Over the years, I became Odessit, fell in love with this city and sad to part with it. I'm more than happy to visit Odessa and to see how the city will develop in the future. I am sure, the Greeks of Odessa will continue to take direct participation in it», — said A. Hiziroglu.

The mayor thanked Mr. Consul and noted his contribution to the development of diplomatic relations between Odessa and Greece.

«You are not only adequately represented your country in Odessa, you worked closely with the city authorities, but you are also a person who is respected by the entire diplomatic corps accredited in Odessa.
