According to the press service, on the eve of September 1st, on the territory of the Manufactured goods market «7th kilometer» was collected humanitarian aid for children from low-income families of the Odessa region.

Participation in humanitarian action took hundreds of the market entrepreneurs who handed over thousands of school kits, as well as clothing, school uniforms, shoes for children. By decision of the administration of the market, collected aid was promptly sent to the orphanages of the area and to the large families. More than a ton of school uniforms, clothes, shoes, briefcases with stationery went to Ovidiopol district, and is already given to children. Gifts from the entrepreneurs and administration of the market «Seventh kilometer» now carried to the schoolchildren from remote villages in Ovidiopol district. In the so-called «social» families of the district, there are about 3 thousand children.

«Parents could not afford to buy for each child all needed goods in the school, and the help of the «7th kilometer» came just in time», ― said the press service of «7th kilometer». Fundraising for needy children is held in the market each year on the eve of Day of Knowledge — September 1st.
