Odessa, 6 SEPTEMBER 2016, CONTEXT-Prichernomorie -- In January-August total turnover of public and private stevedoring companies operating in the seaport «Yuzhny», it was 26 million 541.28 thousand tons, the correspondent of IA «Context-Prichernomorie» reports.

It was reported to the agency today, September 6, in a press-service of the SE «Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority».

The press service reported that, according to operative data, the total turnover on the «Yuzhny» port for 8 months amounted to 26 million 541.28 thousand tons or 82.8% compared to January-August 2015, when the turnover of goods has reached 32 million 45.33 thousand tons.

Liquid cargo handled 2 million 689.81 thousand tons (91.7% up from January to August 2015); bulk dry cargo — 23 million 126.23 thousand tons (80.6%); unitized cargo — 725.24 thousand tons (173.6%).

REFERENCE: Sea port «Yuzhny» is a universal port, which specializes in the transshipment of chemical goods and fertilizers, bulk, liquid bulk and general cargo.
