Odessa, 6 SEPTEMBER 2016, CONTEXT-Prichernomorie -- In January-August total turnover of public and private stevedoring companies operating in the territory of Illichevsk seaport, it was 10 million 791.14 thousand tons, the correspondent of IA «Context-Prichernomorie» reports.

It was reported to the agency today, September 6, in a press-service of the SE «Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority».

The press service reported that, according to operative data, the total turnover at the port of Illichevsk in January-August amounted to 10 million 791.14 thousand tons, which is 8.1% less than in January-August 2015, when the turnover of goods amounted to 11 million 740.44 thousand tons.

Liquid cargo handled for the period 883.93 thousand tons (70.9% up from January to August 2015); bulk dry cargo — 58.9 8 million tons (96%); unitized cargo — 1 million 848.31 thousand tons (88%).

REFERENCE: The territory of Illichevsk port extends strip along the quays from entering deep into the coast of Sukhoi estuary in the second pool to the ferry complex. The port can accommodate vessels up to 275 m (in some cases up to 300 m with the permission of the Harbour Master). The approach channel port has a length of 1.4 km and a width of 160 m and a depth of 16 m.
