Odessa, 12 SEPTEMBER 2016, CONTEXT-Prichernomorie — The Second International Conference Black Sea Summit-2016 on Saturday, 10 September, gathered in Odessa more than 30 influential speakers of the IT-industry and about a thousand guests from around the world, the correspondent of IA «Context-Prichernomorie» reports.

It was reported to the agency today, September 12, in the Department of Information of the Odessa City Council.

As noted in the Department, 10 of September in Odessa at the initiative and with the support of Odessa city Council held an international conference Black Sea Summit — 2016. Leaders in the world of the IT industry presented to the guests of the forum their achievements, shared the latest ideas and exchanged experience.

«Just 2 months ago we presented our investment strategy «Odessa 5T», the potential of the city and the most attractive designs. And this conference is another tool for the further development of one of the five «T» — technology»,— said, welcoming the conference participants, the Odessa mayor Gennady Trukhanov.

The main areas for discussion in Black Sea Summit-2016 are: technology in the agricultural sector (drones and sensors, portable farm for the cultivation of strawberries, etc .; creation of Ukrainian inventors); «Internet of things, or as a toaster can interact with the coffee maker» (technologies, which allow to connect the sensors and sensors embedded in a variety of devices, Microsoft Ukraine experience); alternative energy and «green» business ideas (a new type of vertical wind panels, a global crowdfunding platform for renewable energy projects, an online resource for finding energy solutions at the best price, platform ecoventures, burgers of the new generation of environment-friendly protein, elcontainer for growing fish and lettuce, and innovative hive on ClimateLaunchPad); biotechnology and biohacker (people who transform their body by means of devices and chip-implants).
