Odessa, 14 SEPTEMBER 2016, CONTEXT-Prichernomorie — The Cabinet approved the amended project of reconstruction of the sea channel and inland water approaches to the deep-water berths of SE «Sea Commercial Port «Yuzhny», the correspondent of IA «Context-Prichernomorie» reports.

According to the press service of the SE «USPA», this was reported by First Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Evgeny Kravtsov at the Cabinet meeting today, September 14.

The Cabinet approved the document developed to ensure the completion of the reconstruction of these facilities gradually bringing depths up to 21 meters.

«The main purpose of the reconstruction of marine approach canal is its extension to safely receive large vessels near deep-water berths of the port «Yuzhny», which, in turn, will attract additional flows, will increase the port profits and revenues to budgets of all levels», — said the First Deputy Minister.

Also, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the correction of the working project of the construction of the first and second lap and the new part of the third generation of sea approach channel of the port «Yuzhny».
