Odessa, 19 OCTOBER 2016, CONTEXT-Prichernomorie — In January-September 2016 at the berths of Odessa sea port processed over 18 million tons of cargo, the correspondent of IA «Context-Prichernomorie» reports.

During a press conference on October 18 this was stated by the head of administration of the Odessa sea port Mikhail Sokolov.

According to him, in January-September, 2016 on the berths of the port processed 18 million 630 thousand 400 tons of cargo.

The final figure on dry cargo in the reporting period recorded at the level of 16 million 725 thousand 800 tons, and bulk cargoes — 1 million 904 thousand 600 tons. M. Sokolov also added that the backlog for liquid bulk in the last three months compared to the same period in 2015 reduced by one third. In January-June 2016 through the berths of the port were recycled 855,7 thousand tons of bulk, which was only 38.6 % for the first half of 2015.

In the nomenclature of dry cargo in terms of tonnage leads grain in bulk — 5 million 911 thousand 600 tons.
