Odessa, 19 OCTOBER 2016, CONTEXT-Prichernomorie — On the berths of Odessa sea port in 2016 was handled 100% of the total volume of oil transshipment ports of Ukraine, the correspondent of IA «Context-Prichernomorie» reports.

During a press conference on October 18 this was stated by the head of administration of the Odessa sea port Mikhail Sokolov.

According to him, the Odessa port is the leader among all ports of Ukraine in handling certain goods. So, the Odessa port handled during the first 9 months of 2016 339 thousand 850 tons of oil, accounting for 100% of the total transshipment volume of the specified cargo among the ports of Ukraine.

In addition, the port is a leader in container handling — 71% of the total volume of transshipment, and oil — 54% and ferrous metals — 36% of the total volume of transshipment ports of Ukraine.
