Odessa, 09 NOVEMBER 2016, CONTEXT-Prichernomorie — Specialists of the Border Guards of Poland held in Odessa the training of special units of the State Border Service, the correspondent of IA «Context-Prichernomorie» reports.

It was reported to the agency today, November 09, in a press-service of the Odessa coast guard detachment of Southern RD of the State Border Service of Ukraine.

According to the press service, in Odessa, in the framework of the international project «Sustainable reform of the State Border Service of Ukraine» began training with the soldiers of a special unit «DOZOR» State Border Service and the departments of special operations troops on the water coast guard to study the tactics of special actions on the vessel. Training Activities are planned and carried out with the participation of instructors of border guards in Poland and representatives of the International Organization for Migration.

Within five days the border commandos will learn to organize and carry out police activities on vessels to prepare and implement the operation on neutralization of offenders and criminals on floating facilities.

The Polish colleagues have prepared a set of lessons on the technique of joint actions during immobilization (clearance) dangerous offender and elements of martial arts in the system of direct clashes on the deck of a ship in terms of ship spaces.

Part of training soldiers with Polish instructors will work on the Marine Guard ships, and the test will occur on the real ships of the foreign sequence in the Odessa seaport.

«The first day of training showed that the actions of the ad hoc group in a narrow ship spaces and steep slopes-slopes of ramps for transitions from deck to deck, even from trained commandos require more skill and dexterity, especially in terms of pitching.

Accordingly, the successful execution of exercises on simulated enemy defeat of the regular weapons, also requires additional skills. Consequently, even for fighters of a special unit «DOZOR» training is going to be rich and interesting with a useful gained experience. Especially that close colleagues from the departments of special action on the water, which in a friendly share their experience with the land counterparts, and learn new techniques and tricks from foreign instructors», — added the press service.
