Odessa, 07 DECEMBER 2016, CONTEXT-Prichernomorie — Sea port «Yuzhny» for the first 11 months remains the leader in the port industry of Ukraine — it accounts for 30% of all cargo turnover of sea ports of Ukraine, the correspondent of IA «Context-Prichernomorie» reports.

It was reported to the agency today, on December 07, in the press service of the Port administration.

As noted in the press service with reference to operational data of the main control room of administration of the sea port «Yuzhny», the turnover of all the port operators operating in the port for 11 months amounted to 36 million 239.8 thousand tons, which is 30% of the turnover of all Ukrainian sea ports (120 million 717.9 thousand tons).

In the first 11 months there is a tendency to increase the processing of certain goods to that of 2015: Metal — 89.4 thousand tons (+ 73.1%), container — 73.8 thousand TEU (+ 51,5%), oil — 944.1 thousand tons (+ 7.4%) and others.

Transshipment of export cargo amounted to 27 million 117.9 thousand tons (74,8% of the total), import — 4 million 392.5 thousand tons (12.1%), transit — 3 457.4 million tons (9,6%), cabotage — 1 million 272.1 thousand tons (3.5 %).

Also the three port operators of oil processing managed to increase cargo turnover in the reporting period compared to the same period in 2015: «Risoil – Yug» – 145.3 thousand tons (+32.8 %), LLC «Delta Vilmar SND» — 553.4 thousand tons (+4.9%), LLC «Allseeds Black Sea» TPM — 245.5 thousand tons (+1.4 %).
