Odessa, 12 DECEMBER 2016, CONTEXT-Prichernomorie — Investigators of Prosecutor's office of Odessa region transferred in court materials of the investigation in respect of two specialists of the State migration service of Ukraine suspected of systematic extortion of bribes from refugees and foreigners, the correspondent of IA «Context-Prichernomorie» reports.

It was reported to the agency today, December 12, in the press-service of the Prosecutor's office of Odessa region.

According to the press service, investigators of Prosecutor's office of Odessa region completed pre-trial investigation in respect of two specialists of the State migration service of Ukraine suspected of systematic bribery (part 3 of article 368 of the Criminal code of Ukraine).

One of the suspects employees of GU of GMS in the Odessa region is fired, the other is dismissed at the request of the Prosecutor's office.

The press service reminded that the law enforcers in August exposed «on hot» two employees of the migration service. These workers are systematically demanded and received from refugees and foreigners who traded products in the halls of Odessa, funds in the amount of 1000-1500 UAH for the failure of their administrative responsibilities. In case of failure to provide a bribe certain traders were intimidated to be forced expulsion from the country.
