Odessa, 14 DECEMBER 2016, CONTEXT-Prichernomorie — Today, 14 December, the Day of celebration of participants of elimination of consequences of Chernobyl accident in Odessa took place the laying flowers to the monument to the victims of Chernobyl, the correspondent of IA «Context-Prichernomorie» reports.

It was reported to the agency today, December 14, in the Department of Information of the Odessa City Council.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Department of internal policy of the Odessa city Council, the emergency Services, inhabitants of Odessa-the liquidators of the Chernobyl accident, public figures.

The Department added that in 2016 the provision of material assistance and the rehabilitation of participants of liquidation of Chernobyl from the city budget allocated 1 million 210 thousand hryvnia. To the 30th anniversary of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant Odessa citizens-participants of liquidation of the accident and suffered from Chernobyl catastrophe 1 and category 2, with group 1 disability receiving targeted cash assistance.
