Odessa, 16 DECEMBER 2016, CONTEXT-Prichernomorie — Today, December 16, in Odessa on Uspenskaya street, a solemn opening of the office of the Odessa regional branch of the NOC, the correspondent of IA «Context-Prichernomorie» reports.

It was reported to the agency today, December 16, in the press-service of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine.

According to the press service, today, with the participation of the President of the National Olympic Committee, Olympic champion Sergey Bubka, the city mayor Gennady Trukhanov and the Chairman of the Odessa branch of the NOC, the Olympic champion Nikolay Milchev held solemn opening of the office of the Odessa regional branch of the NOC.

«Housewarming for our Odessa branch is not only a holiday for sporting activists of the Odessa region, but also a wonderful gift for the entire Olympic family of Ukraine. For the National Olympic Committee, the effective operation of the regional offices is a priority and strategic issues. That is why we pay great attention to the support of our offices, infrastructure, human resources, development of the Olympic movement in the cities», — said during the event Sergei Bubka.

Main country Olympian Sergey Bubka thanked G. Trukhanov for strong support for Odessa athletes and financial assistance for the opening of the office.

S. Bubka expressed his gratitude for the productive work to Nicholay Milchev — Olympic champion and record holder in skeet shooting, who successfully combines his career with the efficient operation of the trainer and sports manager.

S. Bubka, G. Truhanov and N. Milchev signed a tripartite memorandum «On cooperation in the sphere of development of the Olympic Movement in the city of Odessa and the Odessa area».
