Odessa, 10 JANUARY 2017, CONTEXT-Prichernomorie — In January-December the total turnover of the companies operating on the territory of Reni sea port amounted to 972.37 thousand tons, the correspondent of IA «Context-Prichernomorie» reports.

It was reported to the agency today, January 10, in the press-service of the SE «Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority».

In a press-service reported that according to operational data, the total cargo turnover at the port for January-December amounted to 972.37 thousand tons, which is 7.2% more than in the same period of 2015.

Liquid cargo handled for the period 94.35 thousand tons (63.5% against the January-December 2015); bulk dry cargo — 869.28 thousand tons (115.0%), packaged unit — 8.74 thousand tons (426.3%).

REFERENCE : The territory of the Reni port includes a fenced part of the shoreline on the left bank of the Danube river from 123.6 km to128.3 km. Area of the port — 940 thousand sq. m. Depths in the harbor range from 2 to 25 m. Design capacity of the port is up to 7.7 million tons.
