Odessa, 16 JANUARY 2017, CONTEXT-Prichernomorie — The cargo turnover in the sea port «Yuzhny» for 2016 reached 39.3 million tons, accounting for 30% of all cargo turnover of sea ports of Ukraine, the correspondent of IA «Context-Prichernomorie» reports.

It was reported to the agency today, January 16, in the press service of the administration of the sea port «Yuzhny».

According to the press service, in 2016, the turnover of the sea port «Yuzhny» amounted to 39.3 million tons, which, in turn, is 30% of the turnover of all Ukrainian sea ports.

The volume of processed goods for the 12 months of state stevedoring companies at berths of administration of the sea port «Yuzhny» was 15.6 million tons, private stevedoring companies at berths of administration of the sea port «Yuzhny» — 2.7 million tons, and private stevedoring companies at their own berths — 21.0 million tons.

Transshipment of export cargo for the year amounted to 29.7 million tons, import — 4.8 million tons, transit — 3.5 million tons, cargo of inland communication — 1.3 million tons.

The main cargoes in the sea port «Yuzhny» for 12 months of 2016 was: ore — 19.8 million tons; the coal and 3.6 million tons; grains — 8.2 million tons, carbamide — 1.3 million tons; fertilizers — 0.1 million tons; petroleum products — 0.4 million tons, oil — 1.1 million tons; methanol — 0.02 million tons; ammonia — 2.4 million tons; containers — 0.1 million TEU or 0.9 million tons; metal — 0.1 million tons; other — 1.3 million tons.

The number of treated vessels under loading operations, port operators in the seaport «Yuzhny»

amounted to 1 thousand 43 calls, among them: «Cape-size» with a deadweight of over 150 tons — 91 ship; with a deadweight 90-150 thousand tons — 34 vessels; ships with deadweight of 70-90 thousand tons — 86 vessels; vessels with a deadweight of up to 70 tons — 832 vessels.
