The Closing Ceremony of the II Odesa International Film Festival was held at Odesa National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet on Saturday, 23 July.

The Red Carpet ceremony was taking place from 17:30 in front of the Odesa Opera House, and then at 19:00, — the closing ceremony of Festival.

In front of the Odesa Opera House, on the red carpet there were members of the OIFF jury — Maria de Medeiros, Ada Rogovtseva, Jerzy Stuhr, Valery Todorovsky, Klaus Eder, and special guests of the festival — Oksana Fandera, Philip Yankovsky, Nana Dzhordzhadze, Bogdan Stupka, Vadim Perelman, Yevgeny Tsyganov.

Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Social Policy Sergoy Tigipko also marched throughthe red carpet with his wife and the president of the festival Mrs Victoria Tigipko.

The spectators could also see there directors and performers of films of the competition programme.

The film closing the festival Brothel Lights, filmed in Odesa and about Odesa, was presented by the director Aleksander Gordon, writer Harry Gordon, the leading lady Oksana Fandera and Ada Rogovtseva, Bogdan Stupka and Yevgeny Tsyganov.
