58 foreign students have received Bachelor’s, Specialist’s and Master’s Degrees at Odesa National Mechnikov University.

According to the ONU press service, the University Rector, Prof Igor Koval handed bachelor’s and master’s diplomas to the graduates of the University — 58 citizens of Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Georgia, China, Morocco, Moldova, Mongolia, Russia, Syria and Turkey.

“The doors of the university will always be open to you. We will be happy to assist you further in your professional and personal growth”, said Koval.

According to the rector, many bachelor graduates are going to continue their studies to upgrade to the master’s degree.

“This year, Moldova rates first by the number of graduates, it is followed by China, Turkey and Russia”, Sergey Skorokhod, vice-rector for International Relations said.

The press service stressed that among those who found education received at the University of Odesa helpful in order to reach the top in science and politics are scientists from the United States, France, Bulgaria, Serbia, Poland, the Prime Ministers of Lithuania and Russia, Minister of Chemical Industry of Vietnam, members of the PRC government, culture and art in Bulgaria, Italy and others.

At present, Mechnikov ONU has about 400 foreign students.
