The issue of the conclusion of a partnership between Odessa and the Georgian city of Batumi is planned to be submitted to the Odessa City Council session.

February 12 at the Odessa City Hall was held a meeting of the Standing Parliamentary Commission on Economic, Investment Policy, International Relations and Information Technology. The meeting was chaired by the head of the commission Oleg Dudnik.

One of the issues on the agenda of the meeting was to consider the possibility of submission to the regular session of the Odessa City Council a draft decision on the conclusion of a partnership with the Georgian city of Batumi.

The meeting was attended by Consul-Head of the Consulate of Georgia in Odessa Manuchar Tsotsonava, director of the International Relations Department Svetlana Boeva and other city officials.

Following the meeting, it was decided to support this proposal and prepare a draft of the contract on cooperation with Batumi.
