Odessa, 04 JULY 2016, CONTEXT-Prichernomorie -- Wine Shabo the only Ukrainian wine presented in the opened in the French city of Bordeaux a modern wine Museum La Cité du Vin («City of wine»), the correspondent of IA «Context-Prichernomorie» reports.

As noted in the press service, in June in Bordeaux, the world capital of wine — President of France Francois Hollande opened a modern wine Museum La Cité du Vin.

The selection of wines for this ambitious project was carried out by the best experts of France. Among the many Ukrainian producers of their choice, they stopped on the wines of only one company «Shabo». After a series of professional tastings was signed a long term agreement on the export to Bordeaux wines KNP «Cabernet» and «Telti Kuruk».

Executive Director of the company «Shabo» George Mshvidobadze commented on this fact: «The Fact that the French experts La Cité du Vin gave preference to our wines, it is quite natural — after all, we were able to bring in Shabo wines the best features of the Ukrainian terroir Chabot, and their quality meets the highest world standards. Proof of this are more than 100 medals at the most prestigious tasting contest in the world, including the «Decanter World Wine Awards» and «International Wine Challenge» (UK), the «Concours Mondial de Bruxelles» (Belgium), «Effervecents du Monde» (France), «Los Angeles International World Wine Competition» (USA) and others. We work a lot on style and quality of our wines, step by step moving forward. So I'm pretty sure, very soon Shabo wine will be included in the top 100 of the best wines in the world».

In the wine Museum La Cité du Vin premium Shabo wine can be found at three commercial sites. First of all, it is a wine cellar, where guests have the opportunity to see 14 thousand bottles of wine from around the world, among which occupy a worthy place and Ukrainian wine producer. In addition, in the wine bar you can enjoy a glass of wine Shabo and acquire what particularly had in mind. All in all, wine bar Museum displays more than 800 items of wine from five continents. And finally, in the deli area of the Museum admirers of noble drinks offer to evaluate the compatibility of foods with the recommended wines of the week.

The press service also noted that visitors of La Cité du Vin celebrate his incredible and bold design. «City of Wine» is located on the banks of the Garonne river, and looks like a huge futuristic decanter. The unique shape of the building symbolizes the spiral flow of wine in a glass. Of course, this is not the first wine museum in France -- there always were a lot more miniature museums, chateau-like. Space as La Cité du Vin is not just a «wine museum». It is a unique cultural center dedicated to the culture of a noble beverage.

Probably, for this reason, wine Shabo so interested experts of La Cité du Vin — after all, the Ukrainian «Wine Cultural Center Shabo» is widely known in Europe as a cultural project, which can be found on the European map of wine museums.
