ODESSA, SEPTEMBER, 30TH, 2008, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – Today, on September 30th, the disabled workers of Odessa region received 10 cars “Slavuta” from the Fund of social insurance of Odessa government administration”, IA «Context-Prichernomorie» correspondent reports.

Cars presentation took place near the building of Odessa government administration.

The head of the organizing section of the Fund of insurance from accidents at work in Odessa region Tatyana Shemetova informed that “today there are disabled people from Odessa, Izmail, Belyaveskiy, Frunzovskiy districts of the region, disabled people who can drive the received cars by themselves. This year 48 cars are planned to be presented: 12 were presented earlier, today – 10, and another 26 cars are planned to be presented in October.

The chairman of Odessa regional government administration Nikolay Serduk noted in his turn: “in 2007 we presented 60 cars, and this year – 48. In all there are 160 people in line, and this line is reducing considerably. It is nice that the government can provide disabled people with transport today, so that they wouldn’t feel humbled. Altogether there are 4 thousand 485 disabled people in Odessa region. And as long these people live, the government will take care of them”.
