ODESSA, OCTOBER, 7TH, 2008, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – The International seminar “Tariff policy and internetworking of telecommunications operators” started today in Odessa, IA «Context-Prichernomorie» correspondent reports.

A 3 day seminar organized by the International union of telecommunications and Area representative of IUT in the countries of CIS, the Government department of communications of Transport Ministry and communications of Ukraine, Odessa national communication academy by A. S. Popov, is taking place in ONCA.

According to the words of the chancellor of Odessa national communication academy by A. S. Popov Petr Vorobyenko scrutiny of such questions is planned during the work of the seminar: recommendations of international organizations and institutions for rates making and for questions of rates control of network interconnection of telecommunications operators services; approaches to rates defining for network interconnection of telecommunications operators services; approaches to building of tariff control system; methods and problems of defining charges for network interconnection services; implementation of the approach LRIC; the principles of accounting of investments for rates making for network interconnection of telecommunications operators services; prospects of development of tariff policy and internetworking of telecommunications operators.

Among participants of the seminar there are representatives of communication administrations of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Kuwait, Kyrgyz Republic, Moldova, Indonesia Republic, Macedonia Republic, Serbia Republic, Ukraine and Switzerland; and also 35 telecommunications companies and telecoms operators from more than 20 countries of the world took part in the seminar.
