NIKOLAEV, OCTOBER, 21ST, 2008, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – The workers of the department of illegal drug turnover control found and confiscated 2.5 kg of marijuana during the authorized searching of the house of a 27 year old unemployed man in Polevaya st. in the urban village of Domanevka of Nikolaev region, IA «Context-Prichernomorie» correspondent reports.

This was reported to the agency today, on October 21st, in the CDS of MHAD of Ukraine in Nikolaev region.

By the prices of the black market the confiscated narcotic drugs are appraised in the sum of more than 40 thousand UAH.

It was established that the man was storing narcotic drugs with the aim of drug traffic. Now he may be threatened by a penalty in the form of imprisonment for up to a 3 year term specified by article 309 of Criminal Code of Ukraine.
