KHERSON, APRIL, 14TH, 2008, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — State enterprise «Kherson sea trading port» intends to construct wood trans-shipment mechanized complex till 2010, “Context-Prichernomorie” correspondent reports.

The agency was informed about this by port chief’s assistant concerning information questions and publishing Miron Buba.

According to his information the complex will be constructed on port territory on left shore of the Dnepr river in boat-yards N. 1, 2 of the Branch establishment «KSTP».

The project of a complex includes construction of the areas on stock-piling and wood storage, also crane gauge devices, railway lines, portal cranes and cranes-manipulators installation, forest products auto-loaders purchase, trimmers. T

The beginning of the construction is planned for 2008, construction term — 18 months.

Planned production capacity of the complex — 160 thousand tons of forest products a year.

The estimated cost of the project makes 4 million dollars.

INFORMATION: Kherson Sea Trading Port was founded in 1778.

The port consists of 10 moorings, 13 cargo yards and 2 railway platforms.

Kherson Sea Trading Port is engaged in trans-shipment both port and coasting cargoes and realization of cargo handling works.
