ODESSA, DECEMBER, 2ND, 2008, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – The President of Ukraine Victor Yuschenko awarded two scientists from Odessa region with the state decorations, IA “Context-Prichernomorie” correspondent reports.

This was reported to the agency today, on December 2nd, in the press-service of the President of Ukraine.

According to the information of the press-service the President awarded the director of the Institute of market problems and economic and ecological researches, academician of NAS of Ukraine (Odessa city) Boris Burkinsky with the order “For services” of II degree and the director of the Danube biosphere reserve of NAS of Ukraine (Odessa region), Candidate of Biology Aleksandr Voloshkevich with the title of honor “Honored nature conservator of Ukraine” “for significant personal services in the development of domestic science, strengthening of scientific and technical potential of Ukrainian state and also on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the National academy of sciences of Ukraine”.

The corresponding order №1113/2008 was signed by Victor Yuschenko on November 27th.
